Hey Do Good Crew,

Our theme this week is walking in someone else’s shoes.

Here’s what’s inside:

  • A mayor who sleeps in a homeless shelter every single Friday night, on a cot, no exceptions. And what has he learned from it? It’s changed him.

  • A singer/songwriter turning life’s last chapter into something unforgettable, writing personalized songs for terminally ill patients.

  • A phone line full of hope where folks dealing with the toughest time in their lives can hear amazing words of encouragement. (And yes, y’all can call it too.)

One of my favorite quotes is “empathy is the ultimate evolution.” It starts with one simple question: What would this feel like if it were me? I think we would all use a little more of that.

Let’s get into it.

With gratitude,
David
